The Holy Scriptures
We believe the Holy Bible, consisting of the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired, God-breathed Word of God. Scripture is fully sufficient for all matters of faith, doctrine, and Christian living, and stands as the final authority for the believer (2 Timothy 3:16–17).
The One True God
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three co-equal and co-eternal Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, who is the Creator of all things (Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19).
Humanity and Sin
We believe that all people are created in God’s image, but through the sin of Adam and Eve have inherited a sinful nature and are separated from God. All are in need of repentance and salvation through Christ alone (Genesis 1:27; Romans 3:23).
The Lord Jesus Christ
We believe in Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, fully God and fully man. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, died on the cross as a substitutionary sacrifice for sinners, was buried, and rose bodily from the dead on the third day. He ascended into heaven, is seated at the right hand of God the Father, and will return visibly and gloriously to judge the living and the dead and establish His eternal kingdom (John 1:1,14; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4; Acts 1:9–11).
Salvation by Grace Through Faith
We believe that salvation is entirely by God’s grace, received through faith alone in Jesus Christ alone. It is fully based on the finished work of Christ on the cross and involves repentance toward God and faith in the gospel, not works or human effort (Ephesians 2:8–9; Acts 20:21).
The Holy Spirit and Regeneration
We believe that the Holy Spirit is fully God, the third Person of the Trinity, who convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment. He regenerates all who believe, indwells them, empowers them to live holy lives, produces spiritual fruit, and guides them into all truth (John 16:8; Romans 8:9; Galatians 5:22–23).
The Church
We believe that the Church is the body of Christ, composed of all true believers. It exists to glorify God, proclaim the gospel, make disciples, and equip believers for service. The local church gathers for worship, teaching, fellowship, baptism, and the Lord’s Supper, demonstrating Christ’s presence and advancing His kingdom on earth (Ephesians 1:22–23; Matthew 28:19–20; 1 Corinthians 12:12–13).
Last Things
We believe that Jesus Christ will return visibly and gloriously to judge the living and the dead. The wicked will be eternally separated from God, while all who have trusted in Christ will enter eternal life. We also believe in the resurrection of the body, the final judgment, and the eternal state of both heaven and hell (Matthew 25:31–46; John 5:28–29; Revelation 20:11–15).
